Sacred Sweats

Sweat suits (sweatshirts and pants) for women being released are desperately needed. Women are often released after years of incarceration with only the clothing that was on them at arrest. Most often those clothes no longer fit or are inappropriate for the weather or other reasons. Most do not have the funds to buy the clothes needed upon release. They welcome new, clean, comfortable clothes suitable for release, especially in larger sizes – though we welcome all sizes.

Donated sweat suits should be NEW. NO solid grey or solid maroon colors. NO hoods of any kind. They may have zippers and pockets. Please contact us for instructions for drop-off or to arrange pick-up by an ASP volunteer who will deliver them to the prison. Because of vetting procedures we cannot accept, nor do we recommend personal prison drop-off donations. Thank you so much!
